back pain!?

I’ve recently started getting really bad lower Back Pains. its hard for me to get up in the morning, get up from a sitting position, even bending over to pick up or feed the cat. Other women at work have been telling me it could be the weight in my breasts. I’m 30 years old, if it is why would it start hurting now? and why would it be my lower back not my upper. Seriously I’m 5′1 and DD cup…i’ve seen bigger. I don’t think thats what it could be, but what do i know? If someone could give me an idea or if they could help me out on how to ease my pain it would be greatly appreciated. Serious answers please….i’m in pain. :(

I stand on a hard floor for 8 hours a day (everyday) at work. By the time I go home my back is hurting so bad I find it hard to stand up-right and walk. Back belts are not allowed. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain while I’m working?

How do you ease back pain quickly and without drugs of any sort?

I am a Tech. Intelligent Light Head for my theatre and because of that, I have to sit on a metal stool for about 4 hours straight. I can’t switch to a chair because then I cannot see over my monitor to see my lights and moving the machines are not options. Sitting in this position really takes a number on my back and shoulders. Does anyone have a technique for easing the pain?

Put some warmth on it. Take a warm shower/bath, use a heating pad or water bottle, or buy one of those heating pain relief pads, you can find them at most stores.

What to do when back pain bad and unable to get to gp medical centre?

Back pain is bad making walking very difficult. Patient is a pensioner, with no one to help, is unable to get to see doctor and doctors will not make house calls. What should he/she do.

There are many reasons for back pain. There is very little information about the patient. I understand that the patient is an aged person. Does he work hard or sit around on a couch? It is also important to know the patient’s mattress condition as a poor quality mattress can also cause Back Pain. Too much sitting, lack of exercise, improper lifting, poor posture, and/or obesity can cause back pain also.

Arthritis is one of the most common reasons for back pain. The type of arthritis most often seen in the spine is Osteoarthritis-sometimes called Degenerative Joint Disease. This is a progressive disease that is most common in the hands but is often found in the bones of the back as well. This condition is seen on an x-ray and is more common as you age. It is thought that if you maintain normal back function and motion with certain exercises, stretches and regular back adjustments, arthritis can be prevented or postponed.

Spinal Stenosis is an age-related disease where the openings in the spine that the nerves come out of become smaller. This often causes pain running down the leg (Sciatica), which makes walking difficult. This condition is found with x-ray, CT scan, or MRI. This can be a difficult problem to treat successfully. Choosing the right doctor is essential for this condition.
